New Time-Bending PC Screenshots Available From Atari’s Timeshift
October 24, 2005 -- New PC screenshots demonstrating the time-warping effects, unique weapons and engrossing environments of the upcoming first-person action game TimeShift are now available! The screenshots show off game developer Saber Interactive’s proprietary Saber 3D Engine, which renders virtual environments with cinematic quality.
Set in the near future, TimeShift will take the first-person genre to an entirely different dimension marked by erratic time and unrelenting action. TimeShift transports gamers to a steampunk-inspired world characterized by a predominance of metal, machinery, and steam power. The unprecedented technology behind TimeShift will allow gamers, for the first time, the ability to slow, stop and reverse the flow of time while remaining completely unaffected.
TimeShift will launch in the spring of 2006 for Xbox 360™ and PC, and in the summer of 2006 for Xbox.
